I started studying submission grappling in 1996 and had my first grappling lesson with Mestre Jean Jacques Machado in 2006 at the Inosanto Academy in Los Angeles. This lesson changed my life and the way I considered this art. For me he has always been my idol. I met Mestre Jean Jacques Machado in Los Angeles and trained with him also in 2007, 2010, 2011 and 2022. During the Italian tour, I hosted in Cava de’ Tirreni (SA) Mestre Jean Jacques Machado in my gym in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2019.

In October 2022 during a 4-day Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Grappling Camp in Los Angeles, I received the black belt from Mestre Jean Jacques Machado.
