Simon Glynn & Jean Jacques Machado

Located in the beautiful mediterranean coast of southeastern France, Jean Jacques Machado French Riviera offers world class Jiu-Jitsu instruction for Men, Women and Children of all ages.

The academy is owned and operated by Simon Glynn. Professor Simon is a lifelong martial artist, with a background in Boxing, Thai Boxing, Judo, JuJitsu and Kung Fu. By 1997 he held black belts in both JuJitsu and Kung Fu which drew him to compete in early MMA events. He began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training in 1997, and was awarded his Black Belt in 2022.

Since 2016 Professor Simon has been a consistent presence at the JJ Machado Academy Headquarters with frequent trips to the US.
