Head Instructor Tomy Tran

Transform Jiu Jitsu is led by Tomy Tran, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt with 17 years of experience. Tomy earned his black belt in July 2022 and his first-degree black belt in May 2024, reflecting a lifelong commitment to mastering the art.

In addition to his martial arts journey, Tomy is a Law Enforcement Officer in the state of Oklahoma and a certified Defensive Tactics Instructor, having trained and instructed numerous agencies across the state. This unique combination of street-level experience and high-level grappling expertise shapes the foundation of Transform Jiu Jitsu.

Our mission is to empower the community through Jiu Jitsu, with a strong emphasis on practical self-defense, anti-bullying, and personal accountability. We teach students how to stay calm under pressure, protect themselves without unnecessary harm, and build confidence that carries beyond the mats.
